Customer Success Manager

Code is a digital agency with a 100% E-Commerce focus. Our teams design, develop and optimize our clients' most critical business tool: their e-commerce platform. We not only help brands launch a high-performing Shopify webshop, but we also translate our work into an impressive conversion rate, using growth tactics and tools like Klaviyo.

Brands we work with include Stoov, Intersport, Alpinestars, BOSKA, Trimtex, 10DAYS and Rosefield.

We're a team of 55 developers, project and customer success managers, marketers and strategists with a shared passion: e-commerce. We are remote-friendly and spread out across our three offices in Delft, Amsterdam and Berlin. With 16 different nationalities and over 40% women, we are a diverse team. We love our warm-hearted culture and daily lunches; being social is deeply rooted in our work culture. We have created a great place to work for our Coders and we constantly strive for a healthy work-life balance. Personal development is one of our key company values.

But enough about us - we want to know more about you!

About the role

The launch of a new webshop is not the end but merely the beginning of success stories for our clients, and as a Customer Success Manager, you play a leading role in this.

Your mission is to proactively advise brands like Agradi, BOSKA, BURNHARD, and Stoov on further developing their online stores and ensuring they extract maximum value from their partnership with Code. Under your guidance and advice, these brands succeed in continuously moving forward towards realizing their full e-commerce potential.

With your expertise, you help clients define and prioritize their e-commerce roadmap, which includes projects such as implementing a PIM or setting up a loyalty program. You translate their e-commerce objectives into concrete action plans that you coordinate with our internal teams. Thanks to your attention, customers are highly satisfied!

Thanks to your expertise and persuasion skills, you transform the opportunities you identify into commercial proposals that you effortlessly sell to customers as retainers.

Customer Success Manager

About you:

This role is a perfect fit for you if you have gained e-commerce experience with a fast-growing brand or if you have contributed to the growth of (e-commerce) clients on the agency side. You have proposed optimizations and (possibly in collaboration with others) implemented them. Do you have experience with Shopify and its ecosystem? Bonus points!

If you have other experience that you believe is relevant to this role, we'd also love to meet you.

You:

  • You have at least 3 years of e-commerce experience (client-side or agency-side).
  • You understand what it takes to accelerate e-commerce and have a strong drive to keep learning in this field.
  • You are able to independently run analyses of online stores and advise on UX optimisations and software opportunities from the Shopify ecosystem.
  • You excel at building strong relationships with clients and partners and can persuade them of the value of your advice.
  • You enjoy providing proactive advice and giving genuine attention to your clients.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Dutch.
  • You feel comfortable in a fast-changing environment and thrive on variety.

You are going to amaze us with:

  • Your entrepreneurial character and passion for e-commerce.
  • Your ability to translate your knowledge of the e-commerce landscape and technological trends into concrete advice and solutions for our clients.
  • Your natural talent for motivating and inspiring colleagues and clients.
  • The fresh perspective you bring and the way you use it to shape your role as a CSM in your own unique way.

What's in it for you:

  • You will work on fun, impactful, visible and challenging projects for growing brands in the Champions League of e-commerce.
  • Flexible location: possibility to work in our beautiful office in picturesque Delft, vibrant Amsterdam or remote - we meet up regularly in the office in Delft, with easy accessibility by public transport.
  • You will join an agency with high ambitions but realistic expectations. We actively facilitate a healthy work-life balance.
  • Your personal and professional development is essential to us: together we invest in your growth.
  • Informal dress code and open culture – we like to feel at home! So expect to have fun with after-work drinks & team outings.
  • Being part of a team where your input will be valued and respected.
  • When we're out of office, we really are.
  • Tasty lunches provided at the office every day. You’ll be amazed by the lovely rendang that our Tsong-Fu prepares every month (veggie options as well!). Our fridge is fully stocked with beer and soda, so don’t worry about that.

Do you not fully meet all the requested job requirements or experience? But do you get extremely excited about this role and Code? Then we encourage you to apply anyway.
