Digital Project Manager

Code is a high-end e-commerce agency with Shopify at its core. Our teams design, develop and optimize our clients' most critical business tool: their e-commerce platform. We not only help brands launch a high-performing Shopify webshop, but we also translate our work into an impressive conversion rate, using growth tactics and tools like Klaviyo. Brands we work with include Stoov, Intersport, Alpinestars, BOSKA, Mercer Amsterdam and Rosefield.

We're a team of 60 developers, project and customer success managers, marketers and strategists with a shared passion: e-commerce. We are remote-friendly and spread out across our three offices in Delft, Amsterdam and Berlin. With 16 different nationalities and over 40% women, we are a diverse team. We love our warm-hearted culture and daily lunches; being social is deeply rooted in our work culture. We have created a great place to work for our Coders and we constantly strive for a healthy work-life balance.

But enough about us - we want to know more about you!

About the role

As a Digital Project Manager at Code, you play a central role in the development of our high-end Shopify (Plus) stores. Collaborating with a team of 5 to 6 front-end developers, you bring webshops to life – from concept and design to launch and ongoing optimization. Your mission? To create webshops that are not only technically robust and visually stunning but also true conversion powerhouses.

You’ll work closely with one of our Customer Success Managers (CSM), who provides input from the client. You translate this input into clear sprints and actionable tasks for your team. At the same time, you oversee the progress of multiple projects, ensuring everything stays within time and budget constraints. With a firm grip on the reins, you strive not only to meet client expectations but to exceed them!

What you'll do:

  • Lead projects: Coordinate the development of multiple new Shopify (Plus) stores, ensuring each project is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with clients and the CSM: Translate client needs and feedback into clear plans and sprints, while keeping progress on track.
  • Team coaching: Start the day with a stand-up meeting, motivate the team, conduct 1-on-1 sessions, and foster an environment where everyone can thrive.
  • Optimization and ongoing development: Actively contribute ideas for new features and translate them into tangible improvements for the webshops.
  • Planning and budget management: Maintain oversight, ensure efficient allocation of client budgets, and prevent surprises along the way.
